Namsan — Nam Mountain is a peak, 262 meters high, in the Jung-gu district of south central Seoul, South Korea. Although known as Mongmyeoksan in the past, it is now commonly referred to as Mt. Namsan. It is the largest park in Korea, and offers some hiking, picnic areas and views of downtown Seoul’s skyline.
A number of events take place at the park and one of the biggest is the annual cherry blossom festival in April. The Cherry Blossom Path in Namsan Park is the longest trail of cherry trees anywhere in the city and is spectacular in full bloom.
